Geocache Description:

For the second year I now want to celebrate the International Women's Day also in the geocaching sphere. In reality, however, this is the 106e time that Women's Day is observed.
For it was in 1910 that the foundation for today's women's day started. Then it was a struggle to introduce women's suffrage in the world's countries. A right that, among other things, was first introduced in 1919 in Sweden and 1922 here in Ireland.

But then it took until 1977 before Women's Day became an international attention. For it was then that the UN General Assembly decided that the 8th of March would be included in the UN list of anniversaries.

Here in Dublin I invite you to have an dinner discussion about the past, the present and the future of equality.
