Montgomery County War Memorial Park, also known as Veteran's Park, is located in downtown Conroe on Highway 105. The park was dedicated on April 29, 1976 by President Gerald Ford (click here for the text of President Ford's speech) in memory of those from Montgomery County, Texas who paid the ultimate sacrifice in service of our country.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) and other organizations host ceremonies at the War Memorial Park on Memorial Day each year commemorating fallen soldiers of Montgomery County.
A very high muggle area in downtown Conroe during business hours in the work week. Hunting this cache is recommended in the later evenings and weekends.

From BL1256, look southeast and you can see another benchmark BL2225.
