The Road to Kyalite Geotrail
Main Road 67
For many years this was an unsealed gravel road and at times could be rather rough to travel on
Nowadays, with the road being a bitumen road, it is a good alternative to traveling up through Nyah and Tooleybuc to get to Kyalite and beyond.
Near waypoint 1 was the end of the line for the railway service between Murrabit and Stoney Crossing.
This service was suspended in 1943
THE CACHE
Arriving at waypoint 1 you find a stone monument
Using information from this monument will give you the coords to GZ
KEY:- The last line on the plaque has a date.
Using the day and the year is all you need as well as a bit of arithmatic
The cache is located at S35 04.ABC E143 34.YER
Where ABC = "the day" plus 361 and YER = "the year" minus 1320
You are looking for a clip lock container which has a logbook, pen and a few swaps
As a guide to new geocachers, we would like to share with you just a few of the things that we carry in our box of tricks
1. Most importantly, a first aid kit and a snakebite kit. We never go camping or caching without these.

3. A length of stiff wire with a hook fashioned at one end and a handle on the other.
