Geocache Description:

This is the first of a number of caches located around the valley that are designed to highlight features that area residents might overlook.  Perfect for a quick stroll around the City, for a lunch break, or a quick trip to the library.  The caches may be small, but the journey will be rewarding.

The cache brings you to and near some features used for treating urban runoff.  While the cache location is often overlooked when walking by, there is a structure that is designed to store and treat water (urban runoff) from local streets, parking lots, and roofs where the cache is hidden.  The feature is integrated with the City landscape.  It's all part of regional efforts to be Stream Smart! and protect Bear Creek.
