Geocache Description:

This is a loop of 5 geocaches placed around the footpaths of Mountnessing to celebrate Leap Day 2016. The walk is just under 2 miles, and can bey VERY muddy in places, particularly towards Nos. 3 and 4. During Winter, or after heavy rain, Wellies are strongly recommended!

There is a short section along the pavement of the main road - please take care if you are accompanied by mini-cachers or geodogs along this stretch. You will also pass one of my existing caches along the route, Are We Nearly There Yet? - Mountnessing (GC3CD4P), which was placed for Leap Day 2012.

Parking is available at the Village Hall, with the waypoint in No. 1 of the loop. For this cache, there is parking available in nearby residential streets, should you wish to cache and dash.

I hope you enjoy the varied sizes and locations of the caches, and the views you see along the walk.

The Hall was built in 1895.  It’s used by many local groups including the Parish Council. It looks like a church, but isn't - hence the name of this cache!

You are looking for a little magnetic plastic tube. Please replace carefully as per the hint. It is fully wheelchair accessible and is perfect for a cache and dash if you don't want to do the rest of the muddy loop.
