In these woods, 4 fairies have happily lived together for many decades. They have invited us to place a geocache near their homes so our geocaching friends could come see their beautiful neighborhood. They will probably hear you coming and will hide for awhile. They are very shy. Please be respectful and quiet so you don't scare them away. If you stand or sit still and look carefully, you may be lucky to get a glimpse of them.
Wekiwa Springs State Park is one of our favorite wild places in Florida. We have enjoyed camping, hiking, canoeing, birding, and fairy watching in this beautiful park for many years. There is an entrance fee for the park, and the hours are 8 am to sundown, 365 days a year. Thank you to Park Services Specialist Scott Mowry and the fairies for permission to place this cache.
