Altoona's Oldest Cemetery Multi-Cache

This is a very quick and easy two stage multi cache. A perfect one for those that may have never found a multi.



I've been researching Altoona's oldest cemetery. It's believed that the oldest is actually underneath the Altoona Mirror building. It's rumored that they tossed headstones over the hill to the creek below. Which brings us back here....to the McDowell Cemetery. Most of the folks that are buried here were born well before Altoona was established and even before the Baker family moved into the well known Baker Mansion. It's also rumored that the Baker family was removed from the Altoona Mirror mystery cemetery and are buried in the Fairview cemetery behind the Altoona Hospital.
So, that leaves us here....at the McDowell Cemetery. Folks that are buried here....most were born well before Altoona was establsihed. I cannot currently find any information about the McDowell family. They seem to be the wealthiest family that came to Altoona before it was established as a city. I will update with any information as it comes in. Any input and further info is greatly appreciated!
