Universal Postal Union 140 Jahrestages Traditional Cache

Der Weltpostverein (franz. Union Postale Universelle kurz UPU) ist eine Sonderorganisation der UNO. Sie wurde 1874 gegründet und regelt bis heute die internationale Zusammenarbeit der Postorganisationen und die Rahmenbedingungen des grenzüberschreitenden Postverkehrs. Anlässlich des 140 Jahrestages wurde eine Postkarte mit einer Landschaft von Bern ausgestellt.

The United Postal Union (UPU) is a specialised agency of the United Nations. It was founded in 1874 and organizes until today the international collaboration of the postal administrations as well as the conditions for the crossboarder mail and parcel traffic. With the occasion of the 140 anniversary, a postcard with a scenery of Bern was issued.
