Blinded By The Light is an instantly recognizable rock song recorded by Manfred Mann's Earth Band, that reached Number 1 on the charts in 1977. The song was originally wrote and recorded by Bruce Springsteen, "The Boss", and released on his first album, "Greetings From Asbury Park N.J.", in 1973. His version was strikingly different. Manfred Mann's Earth Band changed a few lyrics and turned the song into a rock and roll anthem that was released on the album, The Roaring Silence. "Blinded by the light" is a sensation I often experience while trying to solve puzzles. It is a great explanation for how easy it is to overlook the obvious answer by getting overwhelmed by sensory stimulation. This puzzle is a great example. The solution can easily be found, as long as you don't get "Blinded by the light".
