Geocache Description:

I previously had a cache just about at this location that didn't work out and had to be archived. This is a new placement and cache type that I think will hold up longer.

This cache is in the vicinity of three of the current artist-run gallery spaces along St. Claude Ave: The Front, Good Children Gallery, and the New Orleans Community Printshop. If you're in the area on a Saturday or Sunday, I would encourage you to stop in and see some art. The Saint Claude Arts District came to life during the early years of the revitalization of the New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. Many of the younger artists in the city began to pool their resources and work together collectively to open a number of artist-run galleries in the Bywater and Marigny neighborhoods. Since then the St. Claude Arts District has become an integral part of the New Orleans art community, often a vibrant and experimental alternative to the more commercial arts districts on Julia and Royal streets. This cache is recommended for daylight hours only. The gallery members and building owner are aware of this cache placement.

Finding the cache is the easy part. In order to get it open you will need to do a little research. See the hint...
