"Big Five Safari" is a series of caches named after African animals, with the final goal of finding the Big Five (Lion, Leopard, Cape Buffalo, Elephant and Rhinoceros). There are 50 caches in the series, 45 traditional and 5 mystery. Clues for the five mystery caches (the Big Five), are hidden amongst the series. Of course, the Lion (King of beasts), is the hardest to find....You will need to find the four other Big Five first...
The 45 traditional caches are all micros or small L&L and for the most part, are winter friendly and easy to find. The Big Five are regular caches. No need to cross any fences, and the majority of the caches are park and grab!
The Sable antelope has a compact and robust build, characterized by a thick neck and tough skin. It has a well-developed and often upright mane on its neck, as well as a short mane on the throat. Its general coloration is rich chestnut to black. The underparts, cheek, and chin are all white, creating a great contrast with the dark back and flanks. Long, white hairs are present below the eyes, and a wide, black stripe runs over the nose. Both sexes have ringed horns which arch backward. See related web page.
Good Luck and Enjoy your Safari!!!!
P.S. Caution should be taken in approaching any of these animals. Be careful with the terrain at all times....
Congratulations to Ninja Fairies for the FTF!!!!
