Geocache Description:

Plean Country Park is a lovely park on the outskirts of Stirling and is surprisingly bigger than it looks on the maps. There are many trails around the park and it is a great place to go for a walk with many lovely forest areas and a great kids play park. Caches are placed with the kind permission of Jennifer Davidson and Alan Petrie of the Countryside Ranger team from Stirling Council.

This cache continues along the minor trail from Lost in the Woods. When I first scouted out this location it was very muddy hence the name! If you are a competent mountain biker on technical trails then this whole series can be reached by bike. I did it to double check the co-ords of all the caches after some of the opening weekend logs and it was great fun! Please note most of the caches in this series are in heavily wooded areas which sends the GPS a bit loopy. I've been out with my phone and my Garmin hill walking GPS to try to get it as accurate as possible. This is hidden on a slightly drier area risen up from the mud. It is a small plastic tub.ย

Congrats to Nirikina for FTF!
