PLEASE NOTE: THIS CACHE HAS BEEN MUGGED TWICE, AND THE CURRENT CONTAINER IS THE THIRD ONE PLACED IN THIS PARK. PLEASE USE STEALTH.
Back in the 50’s and 60’s my grandmother used to live in a three-room shack just off this side of the lake (long since torn down). She, like some of her neighbors back then, lived mostly off the land; raised her own chickens for their eggs and meat, ate squirrel and frog legs and other wildlife that happened by, including, from time to time, whatever she could catch out of the Lake. Some of the residents, including my grandmother, had well-water, and a number of homes, like hers, were ‘equipped’ with outhouses. The road leading to her house back then wasn’t paved: I don’t remember the name of her street, and a recent drive through wasn’t helpful because it’s no longer recognizable to me. There were a lot of woods to explore so visiting at my grandmother’s house at Lake Como was always an adventure.
This should be a quick and easy P&G. Please bring something with which to sign the log.
Congrats to Eaglecap3 for earning the FTF distinction! WTG!!
