The name of this cache is inspired by three things:
The name of the CO of some nearby caches
The song by Mississippi Delta Blues musician, R. L. Burnside, pictured below.
And, the general mood I was in the day I placed the cache.
I’ve come through this way a few times now initially because of a challenge cache by Badlands. GC48CY9 A Fools Errand which prompted me to go after some of his lonely caches nearby.
It was a nice trek and so I decided to add a cache or two to the area. I even borrowed a bit of the cache description from some of his caches.
This is a camoed preform conveniently placed under a small tree. An easy find if you can get here. The terrain? It's bad, you know. It will vary depending on when you go, but I'd recommend that you avoid going in the spring, summer, fall or winter. If you do decide to go, the best way in is from the south. To get to GZ stick to the trails along the river if you can find a trail. I would also advise you not to go at night.
No matter what you do, DO NOT PARK IN THE COM-ED POWER COMPANY SERVICE DRIVE. Park at one of the two Parking Reference Areas below.
