I spent some time last winter walking around on Embarrass Lake, and placing a few caches. This one is definitely winter friendly. A TOTT is needed.
The easiest access to launch would be near here. If you choose to attempt it in winter, be warned - cross the ice at your own risk. I do not recommend walking from that point, as that is where the Embarrass River enters the lake.
Please take time to rehide well, as it looks like this island sees a lot of visitors.
