Pristine crystal clear blue water invites you for a refreshing swim from the hot Mexican sun. Enjoy this true oasis in the jungle, surrounded by rock cliffs, jungle plants and little fish at your feet. You do not have to wade to get to the cache, but I highly recommend that you swim in the Cenote.
INFORMATION:
The geocache is located at Cenote X’Batun. About 800 metres from Cenote X’Batun is Cenote Dzon-Bacal. The entrance fee to the Cenotes of San Antonio Mulix will give you access to both Cenotes. This cache is available: 9am-6pm, 365 days per year.
$50 Mx Pesos for foreign tourists;
$25 Mx Pesos for Mexicans
$10 Mx Pesos for Yucatan residents.
DIRECTIONS:
From Highway 261, take the Cacao Exit. Follow that road to San Antonio Mulix. You will be driving about 10km down a narrow country road (paved) and then another 5 of km on a dirt road until you get to the Cenotes and geocache. You have two options, either you can drive the 5 km down the dirt road, rent a bicycle (40 Mx Pesos) from the ticket hut.
