"The Grindon Grand" - Geocoin and Travel Bug Hotel Traditional Geocache

A good sized GC and TB Hotel situated just off the A177 and only 10 mins drive from the busy A19 and the even busier A1. The perfect place for the trackables of the Northeast to embark on, or continue their journeys. With parking close by it's also an ideal 'cache and dash'. It has some rather elaborate cammo, please be careful to replace as found and check the cammo looks ok when you leave. 

 This is our first GC and TB hotel. We love following the adventures of trackables, and one of the residents on the opening guest list is our very own "Pond's Adventure 2" which we hope will get to visit as many seaside towns in the UK and beyond as is possible. 

This is a good sized cache which can hold many trackables, there is a log book and pencil for logging your visits. 

The cache took a good few hours to construct, and has cammo that will hopefully help it stay covert in its surroundings. The top layer of cammo is secured by a Velcro fastener on the cache base, undo this, pop off the top layer, lift the mesh, unscrew the lid et voilà, plenty of space for all your trackables. 😃 

Once you've done, please ensure the screw lid is tight, the mesh covers the lid, and the top layer is secured back in place with the Velcro before nestling it back in situ ready for the next person to enjoy. 

One thing we would ask is that you follow a very simple house rule so that the owners of the trackables can enjoy watching their little buddies move around. 

2. Please please please log the trackables movements on their individual pages so everyone can see just how far they've gone, and how their adventures have unfolded. This will also stop cache hunters from being frustrated if they travel expecting to find a clutch of trackables in situ, only to find the cupboard is bare! We've all had that happen!
