This geocache replaces the previous geocache called "2 3". Unfortunately, the hiding spot for "2 3" was recently demolished, and where the final has been moved to is sufficiently far away to warrant a new publication.
Here are the directions to this cache:
1. Each of these mystery caches in the "2" series has a different insight surrounding the title that is needed to solve the puzzle.
2. The cache is NOT hidden at the posted coordinates...in fact, if you go to the posted coordinates, you will be in a southbound lane on the Turnpike. It's within a mile or so of the final and is a great starting point. If you can follow the directions provided in this puzzle, you should be able to find your way to the final.
3. You're seeking a clear plastic container, a bit smaller than a film container.
4. And the puzzle is....
..8 2 1..
.....2.....
..1 2 0..
.....2.....
..1 2 2..
.....2.....
..1 2 8.
5. If you follow the above directions, you will find yourself at an intersection in a commercial area. In the southeast corner of the intersection, you will find a large sign with the one-word name of the location. Place your GPS unit between the "O" and the "N" and get a read on your current coordinates.
6. To determine the final coordinates, add .040 to the North coordinates and .029 to the West coordinates.
7. No geochecker for this one, but if in the end you find yourself standing in a small strip-mall shopping center, you've got it right!
8. Don't worry if your reading is slightly off from ours at step #6...when you get to the final destination, if your geosenses cannot guide you to the most psychologically appealing host for a geocache, the additional hint will take you right to it.
