GNARLY 3 - This is quickly turning into a series of our more difficult caches. We trust this will continue on that course.
Please use care. While not necessarily fragile, the cache can be damaged if not handled properly.
Please note that this cache is on Arizona State Trust Land; therefore a permit issued by the Arizona State Land Department is required. By going to their site, you are able to read the rules, costs and requirements, to print out the permit and to learn the mailing address.
We observed a 4x4 pickup stuck in the deep sand in the road just to the south of the cache. Be aware. The terrain rating is due, in part, to the pokey & pointy things you will encounter. Be aware.
