This Earth Day come help clean up a local favorite amongst geocachers - The Ten Mile Greenway & Central Pond in Pawtucket.
We will meet at the posted coordinates, or use street address: 215 Ferris Ave Rumford RI 02916. This is the Kimberly Ann Rock Complex end of the Greenway. The event will be from 9-11am, but if you want to stay longer to help it would be much appreciated.
We will be assisting the Ten Mile River Watershed, stewards of the Greenway and Central Pond, with cleanup in two of the five sectors outlined in the map below.

Assignments and further instructions will be given at the meeting time of 9am, at the posted coordinates. There is opportunity to help cleanup both on land and by water. Both are needed. In your will attend log, please indicate if you will be helping by land or by water.
Trash bags will be provided. Please bring heavy work gloves or similar. I will have nitrile gloves for those who want them.
For those helping by boat, you will be able to launch your boats from the posted coordinates. It is a short portage from parking to water's edge.
Thanks for considering helping to keep the Greenway clean. Hope to see you there!
