Old Waterworks
The cache is a 60 x 12mm Tube
Park, mooch and grab cache that could be combined with others in the area to make a loop circuit if you so wish

Pumping Station
Durrington village received a main water supply before neighbouring rural parishes when the West Worthing Waterworks Company's reservoir was opened off the Chichester–Brighton road in 1894. All that remains of the old waterworks now is the reservoir and pumping station. To the West of cache location this land originally used for the Waterworks offices and engineering departments was lost to new housing in the 1990's. I remember the building work taking place and thinking "how deep down is that reservoir"
