Geocache Description:

Jean de Biencourt de Poutrincourt et de Saint-Just was a French nobleman best remembered as a commander in the French colonies and one of those responsible for establishing the most successful among early attempts to establish a permanent settlement in Acadia.



At the posted coordinates you will find a monument dedicated to le Sieur de Poutrincourt  and a mill he had built.
