When switching physicians in my early 40’s the new Doc went over some family history.
He said “Your blood pressure is very good”.
“So was my Dad’s” I said.
“When did he pass away”?
“Last year of a heart attack.”
“How old was he.”
“64”
“Did he have any brothers or sisters?” “
“Yeah my Uncle. He’s my Dads little brother.”
“Does he have any heart trouble?” “
“He had a heart attack in 1981. He was in his late-30’s but he recovered and is a retired policeman.”
“I think just to be on the safe side I want you take what’s called a low dose or baby aspirin every other day. They are just 81mg and you can get them coated, in flavors and chewable.”
Now in my mid 50’s I have been told to take one daily. Maybe two if I’m going to be exercising. Since I have taken up geocaching I have been going through these things a little faster than before.
So here is the cache container that I just emptied.
It's write in rain paper so press had or use a felt tip!
