Geocache Description:

Pierre Thibaudeau was an early Acadian settler and progenitor of all the Thibaudeau, Thibodeau ou Thibeaudeau in North America, he also happens to be my 9th great grand father. The posted coordinates take you to the spot that he settled back in the 1600s. Unfortunately the only remenant that survived the Deportation of 1755 is the grist mill stone.

At the posted coordinates you will find a monument dedicated to Pierre Thibaudeau  and a mill he had built.
