10. Temple of Baal. (Jenolan Caves MPT) Traditional Cache

I have hidden 21 caches along the road to Jenolan Caves, each with safe parking, just off the sealed road.

All caches are on the lefthand side, heading towards Jenolan when starting from number 1, off the Great Western Highway.

There is some really nice views along this road that i think don't get much notice, as there is no reason to stop and look. 

The Temple of Baal Cave

This cave consists of only two large chambers, one of which is dominated by the huge 9-metre shawl formation called the Angel's Wing. The cave is also noted for a high incidence of the peculiar formations known as Helictites.

The name derives partly from the biblical story of Baal and other more obscure ancient mythology. The feature names in the cave also partly relate to the bilical story, as well as Esoteric Freemasonry.

Recent 2006 development work has upgraded the lighting and added an audio accompaniment to the cave experience.
