Hambleton Farm plays host to a variety of countryside wildlife, and it is not uncommon to come across deer, foxes and even badgers on your travels. However, the most popular inhabitant is the Common Pheasant. Native to Asia, the Pheasant was largely introduced to Europe and other parts of the world as a game bird. In the past, my Grandfather would organise and attend several shoots over this farm. Pheasants would be bred to live in the woodland of the area, and Pheasant Feeders were installed to provide the birds with an easy access to nutrition.
This cache is located in an area where we kept feeders for the Pheasants, many of my Saturdays were spent visiting such areas, helping my Grandfather to maintain the feeders, and re stock them with grain.
The cache is located just off the track, if you visit at the right time of day you can often get a really nice view as you leave GZ. You are looking for an ammo can style container.
