Rykimäkuru on yksi Pyhä-Luoston Kansallispuiston kuruista. Rykimäkuru Ravine is one of many ravines in Pyhä-Luosto National Park.
[FIN] Rykimäkuru on syntynyt kallioperän repeämäkohtaan ja on siis ns. rotkolaakso. Muut alueen kurut ovat jääkauden sulamisvesien uurtamia. Rotkon lähellä on laavu ja tulipaikka. Kätkö sijaitsee kansallispuiston alueella. Muista siis ottaa huomioon jokamiehenoikeudet ja -velvollisuudet. Ja muistathan noudattaa roskattoman retkeilyn periaatteita ja jättää mahdollisimman vähän jälkiä luontoon ja ympäristöön kätköä etsiessäsi. Kesällä voit patikoida kätkölle parkkipaikalta. Talvella pääset sinne hiihtäen tai lumikengillä. Kätkö on löydettävissä myös talvella. [ENG] Rykimäkuru Ravine is an impressive tear in the rock bed or a gorge. This gorge is different from the area's other ravines as it formed in a tear in the Earth's crust while the ravines were formed by water from melted ice during the Ice Age. Near the ravine there is lean-to shelter and campfire place. The cache is in Pyhä-Luosto National Park. So, observe all regulations, and the responsibilities that come with everyman's right (www.environment.fi). Make sure you leave no trace behind when you hike or camp out. Pack it in, pack it out! - Look after all wastes carefully. On summertime you can walk to the cache and on wintertime you can go skiing or snowshoeing.
