FIN Kätkön kohdalla ollaan sairaala-alueen rajoilla. Muurolan sairaala perustettiin alun perin keuhkotautiparantolaksi ja sen toiminta alkoi vuonna 1927. Sotien aikana 1942-1944 se oli vuokrattu saksalisille kenttäsairaalaksi. Saksalaiset räjäyttivät rakennuksen lähtiessään vetäytymään vuonna 1944. Osa rakennuksista kuitenkin säästyi ja uusi sairaalarakennus rakennettiin hävitetyn tilalle. Nykyisin rakennuksissa toimii vielä psykiatrisen hoidon osastoja ja päihdeklinikka. Lapin sairaanhoitopiirin yhtymähallitus päätti toukokuussa 2015 siirtää sairaalan toiminnot Lapin keskussairaalan yhteyteen, ja rakennukset myydään. Tulevaisuus näyttää mikä näiden rakennusten kohtalo.
ENG The cache is at the borders of the hospital area. Muurola hospital was originally founded as a sanatorium and its operation began in 1927. During the war, from 1942 to 1944 it was leased to Germans field hospital. The Germans blew up the building, when they was leaving in 1944. However, some of the buildings spared and the new hospital building was destroyed in place. Today, the buildings still works departments and substance abuse clinic for psychiatric treatment. Lapland Hospital Corporation Board of Directors decided in May 2015 to transfer to the hospital functions in connection with the Lapland Central Hospital, and the buildings are sold. The future will show what the fate of these buildings.
