Geocache Description:

See Paul's cache log below and then tune in to the National Geographic Channel's, National Geographic Today News show on Thursday Evening, July 5th,2001 at either 7:00 PM or 11:00 PM (eastern and pacific).

Thanks Paul for picking my cache !

This cache is in an area with the typical bay area oak trees, but there are some pines too. Container is about 2 to 3 quart size. This cache is fairly well protected from poison oak exposure.

UPDATE: Since this cache was placed the poison oak has spread. Be a boy scout...that is, BE PREPARED. Also, it's a bit of a hike, but that's all *subjective* isn't it?

Getting there ? From the parking lot you may follow one of several paths. For a bit of a spoiler for a starting point beyond the parking lot, you can look at the encrypted clue. The basic trail map available for free at entry kiosk might help.

50 feet to the left of this cache is a little clearing that will afford you a wonderful view of an amazing horizon.

A view from near the cache

The McStone cache is about .25 miles away and there is a 700 foot elevation difference between the two caches. This cache is about 1,773 feet above sea level.
