While driving to Distansmosse, an excellent multi, I found this mile marker. These things always get my attention because they are so old, especially considering that my home country Australia was only discovered by Europeans at the same time this mile stone was placed here. The Aboriginal people of Australia however found Australia about 60000 years ago! The original stone is actually gone and replaced by this cement copy.
This was a sudden inspirational cache so there's nothing really exotic about the cache or way of hiding, even the log was just a piece of paper I found in the car, but there should be enough place for about 60 logs. The cache is not at the mile marker so please don't upset the stones there.
