ASTAKOS Traditional Cache

Astakos (which means lobster in Greek) is a small town located on the eastern shore of the Ionian Sea and is built in an inlet of the gulf with the same name. The place was founded in the ancient times. Durring summer many tourists visit the area and there is a conection by sea with Ithaka and Kefalonia.

The little harbor with the pier is ideal for a walk, a coffee or a meal by the sea. You can also take a walk in the small town where you can admire some Neoclassical architecture.

The cache is a small magnetic one.

Τους καλοκαιρινούς μήνες τον επισκέπτονται αρκετοί τουρίστες ενώ υπάρχει ακτοπλοική σύνδεση με Ιθάκη και Κεφαλονιά.

Το λιμανάκι του με τον χαρακτηριστικό μώλο είναι ιδανικό για περπάτημα, καφέ ή φαγητο δίπλα στην θάλασσα. Στα ενδότερα μπορείτε να περιπλανηθείτε στα σοκάκια του και να θαυμάσετε πανέμορφα διατηρητέα νεοκλασικά αρχοντικά.
