Geocache Description:

This was our family's first hide.  It is a relatively easy-to-find cache, but is typical of the types of hiding places you'd expect when treasure hunting.  The terrain is easy, parking is close by, and the cache is ground-level.

We're excited to share our first family-hidden geocache with you!

This is a nice easy find for any experienced treasure hunter... and possibly for a beginner as well.  You'll find this cache sitting along the dirt side of the Alameda Creek Trail... so feel free to bike, run, or just walk.  Isherwood is the closest entry point to the trail.  There are likely to be lots of muggles about, so be as inconspicuous as you can.  The cache is a small orange plastic container (approximately 100ml).  There are a couple of small trinkets inside.  The cache is easy to access, but be aware that the all that's left now of the tree it was hidden under is only a couple of cut-up logs. However, you will find an out-of-place stone (that one considerate hunter re-placed for us) just a few paces off.  And of course, please be sure to re-place the cache as found. Some original items within the cache were removed by hunters, but not replacd with anything else.

Enjoy!!  MJAB
