Wonderful area of Midland to play and relax. Wether you are playing with your kids, playing a round of golf, riding a bike, or just taking a walk, this park is well worth the visit - plus it has a geocache. There is a playground and basketball court included. The view of the sunset is also very nice. Many sights to see - ducks of "course", ground squirrels, rabbits, and mosquitos. In the spring and summer, there are small back birds (swallows?) with a red spot on their body that fly from the bridge at Loop 250 and Hwy 191 to the golf course ponds. Their nests are made of mud and are located on the underside of the overpass. (Good trivia to put in the comments if you know the name of the birds). Stages are not too far apart and an easy to walk. This is my first geocache to set up and hopefully it is a success (my son, Flying Puma, helped set it up too). Thanks for visiting the mutli-cache. I hope you enjoy the hunt!
