Geocache Description:

Small cemetery in Owen County

Hudson Hill Cemetery is located in Montgomery Township, Owen County.  This cemetery had its' start in 1873 when the two year old daughter of James N. Hill unexpectedly died.  He searched for a suitable site and along with his pastor, Reverand Thomas S. Milligan lead the community in securing the present site from a Mr. Hall Spratl who was one of the original families in the are to sell the northwest corner of his farm.  This is considered to be one of the finest in the county.

While walking through the cemetery I noticed many military persons buried in this cemetery along with a lot of headstones for people who had been deceased for a hundred years or longer.

Remember, this is in a cemetery so ****NO NIGHT CACHING*******
