Parking is available in front of the area sign on Hendrick Street.
Click here for the former trail map. Some trails cross private property or have been made impossible to traverse since the 2014 microburst. Note: This map was not generated by me and is for your reference. Staying on the white/blue-blazed or red-blazed trails within the area will keep you on conservation land.
Following the blue/white trail to a crossroad with the red trail is a small clearing that has been a product of the 2014 microburst. The red trail continues out of the BBF and up toward Route 141 and Mt. Tom, while the blue/white trail continues in either direction for a complete loop. If you approach from TinyDoom, making a complete loop may be difficult due to the need to climb over fallen trees and since the trail was reviewed in October 2015, additional damage that may require a short bushwhack.
Whether you scramble over trees or take the approach from TinyLuthor, you will not have to wander more than 5 feet from the trail to locate the cache. You are searching for a black, plastic treasure chest. Inside is a metal container which magnetically holds the log you will want to sign! Please try to replace this cache well!
The organization of evil figures has expanded since its 2013 conception, including non-DC monstrosities such as Electro. Electro is able to utilize electricity and has been said to manipulate others by controlling the electrical impulses in their brains! Please do not remove the figures from the other caches; take pictures, make up storylines, but don't ruin the fun!
Good Luck! Happy Caching!
