My kids and I decided today was a beautiful day for a bike ride. I had some brand new ammo cans in my trunk and knew there were some gaps along this trail. Seemed like a perfect opportunity! We got our nice ride on a pretty day, you got a new geocache. Win-win!
The newest addition to the South River Trail in southeast Atlanta runs between the Gresham Park Rec Center and the Atlanta Perimeter College campus. This stretch of the trail passes through a scenic wooded area, next to the Sugar Creek Golf Course, passing under 285 along the way. The completed trail will eventually connect on the west side to The Atlanta Beltline and Constitution Lakes Trail off Moreland and to the Arabia Mountain Preserve and Monastery of the Holy Spirit to the east.
