Geocache Description:

The Red Buffalo Ranch is owned by tv personality Bill Kurtis, who was born in nearby Independence.  The ranch was originally 8,000 acres but in 2012 Bill sold off 3,600 acres leaving 4,400 acres.  He still owns Butcher Falls and Prairiehenge.  The ranch is northwest of Sedan, Kansas in Chautauqua County.

Butcher Falls is the tallest waterfall in the area.  Here, water from Middle Caney Creek drops about 10 feet over the limestone rocks.

Prairiehenge is a modern stonehenge built by artist Stan Herd, who is a native of Lawrence, Kansas.

You are looking for what else, a red bison tube.  Highway 99 does have traffic so try to be stealthy.  There is parking at the cache site.  Please put cache back where you found it.

Happy hunting and cache on!

Congratulation to kevin&betsey and Ichabod08 for FTF!!!
