Geocache Description:

Ennis Road is one of our favourite country lanes in the Wodonga area. It is located about 5km along Castle Creek Road, in Wodonga's southwest.  We live nearby and use the road frequently to walk the dogs, exercise and generally unwind after long days at work.  Hopefully this cache will help you to share our appreciation for a spectacular part of Wodonga.

WARNING: This cache has a terrain rating of 4.5 and is intended to be physically challenging. If you are afraid of heights or are not confident in your ability to climb, then DO NOT ATTEMPT this cache. It is recommended that you wear a helmet and utilise appropriate tree climbing gear, although the cache was placed without use of any special equipment. The Cache Owner accepts no responsibility if you decide to ignore this warning and attempt to find the cache and injure yourself. Ennis Road offers a quiet, scenic drive (or walk), with some steep ascents, outstanding views and interesting landscapes. If you choose to follow it all the way from its start at Castle Creek Road, to its terminus: you will travel 4km with a total ascent of 243m (one way, return trip is 8km). To do this, you will need to pass two private property signs. Dont worry - as long as you stay on the main road, you wont be trespassing. You can walk or drive to each cache along Ennis Road, which is all-weather access and suitable for 2 wheel drive vehicles. Easy S(tree)t is a relatively straight forward tree cache, inspired by a tree climb series near Walla Walla by Joelisa. The cache has been placed in a manner that requires a simple tree climb (or use of a ladder!). If the tree is climbed, the cache has a terrain rating of 4.5. No special equipment was used to place the cache, but long arms and legs are very useful! Please use extreme caution if you attempt this cache. Its not too high up, but you still need to be careful. Enjoy your experience and remember, you're never too old to climb a tree! Congratulations to Jamin Appleford on another FTF!
