Kibo Doggies Bone Traditional Cache

The Huisgenoot magazine in the 1980's, carried a story that reportedly occured in the Eastern Cape, of a man and his dog, who went out one night to check out a disturbance happening to their livestock. They returned late the next day, but, they were both 'horribly changed'.

Kibo doggie was bought from the same farm, where the reported incident occured. Kibo was a very intelligent, faithfull, and loving dog, as Kelpies/Border collies, are known to be. Unfortunately, town life sometimes are too boring for these highly active dogs, and they sometimes get the urge to chase cars (herding instinct?).

Kibo died of old age a couple of years ago, and the family often used to say he carried the same genes, or was possably a relative of the mystery dog of the Huisgenoot article. all those years ago...
