Beware! Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

The Cachekeepers: In order to maintain this cache The Head Honcho would drop me off at the top of the Loy Lane bridleway and I would wander down towards the Loftus cemetary, where she would pick me up. It was a lovely walk, and I rarely saw anyone else.

This was a swag box, in the hollow of an old trunk, complete with some scary plastic denizens.

Geocache Description:

This cache is placed at the edge of a bridleway.
There is enough room inside the cache for trackables and a few swaps.

This cache is going to be archived on Monday 10th August

We are archiving all of our 100+ Yorkshire caches.
We'd love you to come and find any caches you can before that date.

Although we encourage you to take as much swag as possible before the caches disappear, please do NOT take the cache itself. Cachers are still trying to find our caches and, once we archive them, we're hoping to bring them in ourselves.

BEWARE

This cache is one of a number on a 3.5 mile circular walk incorporating Loy Lane and South Town Lane. Each cache can be completed as individual caches and their terrain/difficulty levels are given for each as a one-off cache. The total circular walk is reasonably flat (Terrain: 1.5 - 2).
The Loy Lane Round bookmark list shows which caches are currently available on the circuit.

Loy Lane is a pleasant (if sometimes muddy) off-road bridleway. South Town Lane is used by local traffic only. The traffic is light and the road is used by locals to walk their dogs. A pavement runs along the short section beside the A174.
