Geocache Description:

This is one of a series of caches placed along the 5km Attychraan Loop walk in Galty Castle Woods. Phone signal is unreliable here, so we recommend that you download the information (with spoiler photo) before you leave home.

There is no need to take the wall apart! This cache is placed behind an odd stone - please replace this 'out of place' stone so that the wall will not be damaged.

When doing the series, we recommend that you follow the blue arrow route, heading uphill from the carpark, making Beechroot the first cache done in the set. The loop follows woodland trails, forest tracks and roadways in Galty Castle Woods, crossing the Funshion and the Attychraan Rivers with fine views of the countryside and spectacular views of the Galtee Mountains opening up as you travel.

The GPS may not be the most accurate due to tree coverage but the rather unusual cache name and the spolier photo should solve this problem. This path is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs and can get very mucky.

The cache is a small tupperware box.
