Introducing a German Geocaching Event Tradition in Amsterdam
In April 2007 a new idea was born in the German geocaching community: Geocachers joining decentralized events following the first 'Gründönerstag-Event' in Berlin: GC10XPP.
Since the day 'Gründönerstag-Events' started 2007, it spreaded all over Germany and the world, being celebrated each year on Maundy Thursday. The community always meets at a Döner/Kebab location somewhere in town. This Year I am during that special day in Amsterdam. I thought why not have an event at a local Döner to meet local and tourist geocachers.
