Event: islandfinders Retirement From Geocaching Party

Place: The new Tim Hortons on Helmcken
After 4+ years of Geocaching we've decided to hang up our GPSes and stop hunting the elusive plastic. We've had some great times and memorable adventures but we've decided to focus on some other priorities in life. We still plan on doing the occasional hike and staying in touch with the many friends we met over the last several years. We've decided to host a Tailgate Party get together before we retire from this crazy hobby. We do have a CITO schedued on April 16th that we're committed to hosting but by that time we'll be full-fledged muggles! We're going to keep our Geocaching account open in case anybody wants to reach us and we'll continue to maintain all of our caches for the foreseeable future. We hope to see you at this event! We're supplying the Timbits!

Also, if our Crimson Fish puzzle hasn't been solved by the time we host this event then we'll reveal the answer on how to solve it! Get fishin!
UPDATE:
Not that you need more incentive than free Timbits… on the morning of the event Mr. IF will make a solo trek into Grasse Lake wearing a suit made of meat (various types of steak, chicken breast, porkchops) that Mrs. IF will be sewing together. The intent is for Mr. IF to get the attention of SooGar (the Sooke cougar) and to convince SooGar to attend the event that night. The plan is to allow attendees to get their picture with SooGar at a charge of $5 each (to help recover the costs of all of the meat). After the event, Mr. IF will drive SooGar back to the Charters Creek parking lot and of course thank SooGar by giving him the yummy meat suit.
