07/08/17: FINALLY replaced this cache w/ another container and NEW goodies. SORRY it's taken so long & THANKS for all the comments about its MIA'ness as well as the positive feedback on this "ancient" geocache! ENJOY!
The cache location is a short'ish walk on a well-marked trail/2-track in the Island Lake St. Park. The trail is OK to bike but eventually the off-trail route is more difficult with poison ivy and moderate/thick brush. The one-way hike dist. is ~ 0.5-miles.
The cache contains MANY new items & new log book (04/27/13). Placed in same area BUT now using a container that is easier to close so hopefully it's contents will stay drier.
NOTE: if you hit water while searching for it, you're WAY too cold (and now wet)!!!!
MANY biting insects in late Spring thru Summer. So, PLEASE do NOT hesitate to bite them back!
