There is no need to climb over or under anything or even leave the path to retrieve this cache. There is no need to engage with the vegetation.
If you are doing this cache as part of the series, we recommend that you follow the blue arrow route, heading uphill from the parking area, making Beechroot the first cache done in this set and this the last cache completed. The loop follows woodland trails, forest tracks and roadways in Galty Castle Woods, crossing the Funshion and the Attychraan Rivers with fine views of the countryside and spectacular views of the Galtee Mountains opening up as you travel.
The GPS may not be the most accurate due to tree coverage but the rather unusual cache name should help solve this problem. This path is not suitable for buggies or wheelchairs and can get very mucky.
The cache is a camouflaged small tupperware box.
