Cache Says, "Daaammmm!" Traditional Cache

This cache is located along the North Country Trail, be prepared for some muddy, wet conditions all along the trail. Wearing blaze orange during hunting season will be required for these caches. Parking for this section of the NCT can be found at the listed parking waypoints. Bring a pen to sign the log and read each cache description, as each find is a unique one.

  We placed this new cache here because of the nearby structure. Earlier in the year, we hiked this 2.1 mile piece of the NCT and stopped along the way to walk out on the ice. It's very quiet and out of the wind, so we thought we might come back here to skate. That never happened due to the unusually warm winter we just had.

   This cache is a black pop-top micro hanging in the usual way. We're trying not to make outrageously difficult hides along the NCT so that cachers won't be deterred from hiking the whole piece and enjoying all the scenery. As we hiked this way in January, there were turkey and deer tracks galore all along this piece. Seems like they love using the NCT as much as we do. Good Luck and enjoy the trail.
