Geocache Description:


This is a fascinating cemetery completely surrounded by a subdivision. It was used by the Bates family but is no longer in use. The prominent monument here belongs to Thomas G. Bates. The smaller headstones nearby belong to the six children he and his wife lost. Parking is available at the end of Lely street with a short walk to the cache.
