A park-and-grab near Ragged Point. Use the pull-out or park in the adjacent lot.

RAGGED POINT

Hiking and exploring is the best way to enjoy the Big Sur while you are at Ragged Point. When starting from the Ragged Point Inn the possibilities are endless; the best options on or close to Ragged Point are presented here. There is a developed trail on Ragged Point Inn's property, it leads down to Ragged Point Inn's own private beach. The public now has access to all Hearst Property-bordered beaches which start at the "real" Ragged Point and stretch for miles and miles south. The Silver Peak Wilderness Area is just across the street from the Ragged Point Inn, and there is great hiking on the Salmon Creek Trail which starts just a few miles up the highway from the Ragged Point Inn.
