2016 WGA Geo-Campout Event Cache

Welcome to the 2016 WGA Geo-Campout.

This year we'll be spending the weekend at the Kettle Moraine State Forest—Southern Unit.

The Main event will take place on Saturday, May 14th from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m.


While daytrippers and Hotel/Motel campers are always welcome, to get the full Geo-Campout experience you need to sleep outdoors in the park.

The WGA has reserved a group campsite for tent campers (sorry, no trailers or pop-ups) that are available on a first-come, first-serve basis (60 campers max). Camping is not required.

Friday night at 8 pm and Saturday after the Night Caches (9:30 ish) come join us for s'mores and a campfire.

Friday:

• Group Camp Setup Starts 4:00pm

• Campfire Social at the Pinewoods Campground WGA site- 8:00pm - Community Fire Ring

• Park Closed to Non-Campers - 11:00pm

Saturday:

• 08:15 Pavilion opens

• 08:15 am - 8:30 pm Night Cache Registration

• 08:15-10:00 Pavilion We will be offering geocache downloads and Hack1of2 will have a few handouts with the new caches.
