This is an in and out the same way cache location.. access via the end of the quarry car park ( waypoint provided)... going in, follow the upper path .....I've brought you here for the fantastic view of Crawshawbooth up and down the valley and looking over to my other series' Wandering the Shire and Larks Over Swinshaw
A short walk from Cribden End to Crawshawbooth, mainly along the spring line demarcated by the hillside farms which lie in light or shade depending on the time of day and season of the walk. This walk is best done in the morning as the sun rises and floods the valleys with light.
In the late afternoon and evening the shadow of Cribden grows and the lights of housing and commerce along the road to Burnley gradually emerge.
To get to the next cache, leave the same way that you came in, then walk back up to the hill to Pinner Lane ( opposite the entrance to cache no 8 ), following that lane down to the next cache and then on to the village for the return leg.
